Silicon Valley Queer Film Festival ~ (February 21, 2025)

The Silicon Valley Queer Film Festival makes its in-person debut in San Jose CA.  We are also making history as the BIGgest & QUEERest Film Festival in San Jose to date. So, we hope you’ll come and SASHAY WITH US! And we doubly hope you will join us for the Pure.Queer.Joy. film block, co-hosted by Community Partner Baylands Frontrunners.

ABOUT THE FESTIVAL: SVQFF is an inclusive, joyful, & unique experience that combines QUEER PERFORMANCE ART with QUEER CINEMA (Screenings of LGBTQ+ short films). Our festival is divided into individual, themed blocks that include a variety of short films aligned with the theme. Some film blocks have performances, while others have audience-driven Q&As. The Pure.Queer.Joy. block is co-hosted by Baylands Frontrunners, who will be visible and present to celebrate with us and inform our guests about their fabulous organization (and how to sign up and support them!). We encourage everyone to arrive 30 minutes before the film block begins to park, settle & check-in, and order concessions.

TICKET INFO:  General Admission is $15 per block, though is $20 total ($15 ticket +$5 processing charge) on the 3Below theaters website. Baylands discount rate on THIS special RSVP page is $12 now through January 31, 2025 for ALL MEMBERS and THEIR GUESTS and will be $15 thereafter on THIS PAGE only. NOTE: Walk-In rate is $20 at the 3Below Box Office. Discount tickets are not available at Walk-In. We encourage early RSVPs so we can offer you the discount rate and block seats. All seats are assigned. PARKING INFO: 3Below Theaters is located on the ground floor of the 2nd Street Parking Garage, hence the name: three theaters below the garage. There are entrances to the garage on 2nd and 3rd Street at San Carlos. Plan to park in the 2nd Street Garage, or if it is full, head to another ParkSJ lot in downtown San Jose to enjoy free parking with validation. Bring your parking ticket into the venue with you and visit the cashier at the food service counter to request validation any time before or after the event. Validation covers 3 hours and 30 minutes of free parking.

Cafe: 3Below Theaters has a cafe with hot bites, cool treats, and wine, beer, soda, and other beverages – all welcome inside the auditorium. No outside food is permitted inside 3Below.
